When Bre and Zach began planning their wedding, they had one vision in mind: a romantic European fantasy. Inspired by their dreamy engagement along the Mediterranean Sea in Altea, Spain, they wanted to create a day that transported guests to the European countryside - without leaving Minnesota. Nestled in the rolling hills of Chaska, Minnesota, The Edward Anne Estate was the perfect setting to bring that dream to life.
"We envisioned our wedding day as a romantic European fantasy to align with our dreamy proposal," shared Bre. "Hosting our wedding at The Edward Anne Estate was an ultimate dream come true - it captured our European cottage core vision perfectly."
From the moment the morning began, every space at the estate elevated the experience. For Bre, the bridal suite felt like stepping into a storybook: “straight out of a Cinderella movie.” It inspired her to choose a gown that reflected the same romantic elegance, paired with custom-picked Italian heels and stationery pieces reminiscent of Bridgerton. For Zach, the groom’s suite provided a calm, relaxed setting to shoot pool with friends before walking down the aisle.
Bre and Zach brought intentionality into every part of their day. Bre wore a pair of gold cross earrings gifted by her parents and blessed by the priest at The Basilica of Saint Mary, who also presided over their wedding. To honor Zach’s late mother, her favorite flower, the calla lily, was incorporated into Bre’s bouquet and echoed throughout the floral design in the ballroom.
In a charming departure from tradition, the couple served a stunning macaron tower in place of a wedding cake, a nod to their love of Paris, their honeymoon, and their seven-year anniversary trip. As “C’est Si Bon” played softly in the background, Bre reflected, “We fed each other macarons, It was one of the most memorable parts of the night.”
With the help of their creative partners, Bre and Zach’s European-inspired celebration came to life with timeless charm and thoughtful design. Emily of Blossom Studio Minneapolis transformed the ballroom into a floral dreamscape, while DJ entertainment from Bellagala filled the evening with energy.
"The Edward Anne Estate on its own is absolutely stunning," Bre said. "But once you add your special touch to make it feel unique to you both, seeing it all come together left us speechless."
"Be true to you as a couple," Bre shared. "If there's a style or design you love—even if it's not trendy—go for it. When every detail reflects who you are, it makes the entire experience feel even more magical."
As for the wedding day itself? “Stick by each other as much as possible. The day goes by in a flash, and sharing each moment together is what you'll remember most.”
